High sensitivity of the microcalorimetric method for the registration of immunologic reactions and prospects of the practical application of the method demand an objective interpretation of the results and an explanation of the range of thermistometry findings varying from positive to negative values. The investigations have been carried out with models with known titers of purified antigens and antibodies and with unknown antibody titers. The method has been employed in examinations of children suffering from infectious allergic diseases and from central nervous system abnormalities. The energy processes connected with the negative, zero, or positive results of the reactions, depending on the antibody and antigen concentrations, are explained.
