Background: Childhood obesity prevalence remains high, especially in racial and ethnic minority populations with low incomes. This epidemic is attributed to various dietary behaviors, including increased consumption of energy-dense foods and sugary beverages and decreased intake of fruits and vegetables. Interactive, technology-based approaches are emerging as promising tools to support health behavior changes.

Importance: Lung cancer in individuals who have never smoked (INS) is a growing global concern, with a rapidly increasing incidence and proportion among all lung cancer cases. Particularly in East Asia, opportunistic lung cancer screening (LCS) programs targeting INS have gained popularity. This study aimed to estimate the prevalence of HCM and describe the patient characteristics, treatment patterns, and utilization of medical expense subsidies in Japan, using payer claims data from insurers.
Methods: This retrospective study of patients with HCM in Japan utilized payer claims data from insurers (Advanced Elderly Medical Service System [AEMSS], Kokuho, and Kempo) from January 1, 2017, to December 31, 2021.

Unlabelled: This study aims to determine the incidence, clinical course, and risk factors of hypothyroidism following cardiac catheter (CC) in infants with congenital heart diseases (CHD). This prospective study involved 115 patients with CHD, all aged 3 years or younger, who underwent CC, as well as 100 healthy age- and sex-matched controls. Baseline thyroid function tests (TFTs) were conducted for both the patients and controls.
