Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is the first spontaneous hyperglycemia during pregnancy. Early diagnosis and intervention are important for the management of the disease. This study compared and analyzed the proteins of total plasma exosomes (T-EXO) and placental-derived exosomes (PLAP-EXO) in pregnant women who subsequently developed GDM (12-16 weeks), GDM patients (24-28 weeks) and their corresponding controls to investigate the pathogenesis and biomarkers of GDM associated with exosomes.

The objective was to carry out a scoping review to study the literature and evidence of how autonomy is being offered to parturient women. Background: Laser-assisted hatching (LAH) stands as the predominant technique for removing the zona pellucida (ZP) in embryos, primarily consisting of two methods: drilling laser-assisted hatching (D-LAH) and thinning laser-assisted hatching (T-LAH). Presently, both methods have limitations, and their comparative efficacy for embryo implantation and clinical pregnancy remains uncertain.
Aim: Evaluate the impact of D-LAH and T-LAH on clinical pregnancy rates within assisted reproductive technology (ART).

Background/aim: At the beginning of the 21 century, obstetric medicine took a turn from interventional to restrictive in low-risk birth. The present study examined the changes in peripartum management over the past 20 years at the Women's University Hospital Cologne. The attitudes of the becoming mother and physicians towards anesthesia, episiotomy, and vaginal-operative deliveries were compared and the factors influencing the duration of birth over the past 20 years were examined.
