Patient perception of the radiology experience will impact a hospital's HCAHPS results, and radiologic technology has a critical role to play in making those experiences as positive as they can be. Recent advances in DR acquisition and workstation technology make the modality an ideal fit for healthcare organizations focused on improving patient safety and satisfaction. This article will look at how DR and workstation technology can improve technologist responsiveness to patients, radiology report generation, recognition of patient acuity, cleanliness and quietness of facilities, patient transport and positioning, and dose management.

Background: Left ventricular (LV) myocardial contraction patterns can be assessed using LV mechanical dispersion (LVMD), a parameter closely associated with electrical activation patterns. Despite its potential clinical significance, limited research has been conducted on LVMD following myocardial infarction (MI). This study aims to evaluate the predictive value of cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR)-derived LVMD for adverse clinical outcomes and to explore its correlation with myocardial scar heterogeneity.

Neurotensin (NTS) is a secretory peptide produced by lymphatic endothelial cells. Our previous study revealed that NTS suppressed the activity of brown adipose tissue via interactions with NTSR2. In the current study, we found that the depletion of Ntsr2 in white adipocytes upregulated food intake, while the local treatment of NTS suppressed food intake.

The self-assembly of hydrophobic organic phototherapeutic agents (OPTAs) with expansive planar structures into nanoparticles (NPs) represents a pivotal strategy to bolster their biocompatibility. However, the tight molecular packing within these NPs significantly influences the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and the photothermal conversion efficiency (PCE), posing a substantial hurdle to elevating the efficacy of photodynamic therapy (PDT) and photothermal therapy (PTT) for such NPs. In this article, three OPTAs by donor engineering are synthesized.

Single-cell and spatial multi-omics technologies enable the simultaneous analysis of thousands of cells in various states, revealing their transcriptional profiles, chromatin accessibility, and spatial positioning. Recent advances in single-cell multi-omics have led to significant discoveries regarding the definition, function, evolution, and interaction of various cell subtypes during tooth development. We summarize key findings from recent single-cell multi-omics studies on tooth development, highlighting their contributions to the field and discussing future perspectives in dental developmental genomics research.

Purpose: Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a disease associated with high incidence and high mortality, which is a major problem threatening women's health. Xiaoyao Sanjie Decoction (XYSJD) exhibits remarkable therapeutic efficacy on TNBC; however, the underlying mechanism is unclear. This study verified the efficacy of XYSJD and its active component in the treatment of TNBC and explored its potential mechanism.
