New rhodanine-thiazole clubbed compounds (7a-7l) were synthesised and characterised with various spectroscopy methods. The synthesised hybrids underwent HPA, HLAG inhibition, and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma (PPAR-γ) expression assays. Through the biological study, compound 7f showed promising inhibitory activity against HPA with an IC value of 27.

Digital clubbing is characterized by bulbous enlargement of the terminal segments of the fingers. Hypotheses including hypoxia have been proposed for the pathogenesis of digital clubbing, but the exact pathogenesis of digital clubbing is still uncertain. Lysinuric protein intolerance (LPI) is caused by pathogenic variants in SLC7A7 and is often associated with interstitial lung disease.

Diabetes mellitus is a multi-systematic chronic metabolic disorder and life-threatening disease resulting from impaired glucose homeostasis. The inhibition of glucosidase, particularly -glucosidase, could serve as an effective methodology in treating diabetes. Attributed to the catalytic function of glucosidase, the present research focuses on the synthesis of sulfonamide-based acyl pyrazoles followed by their and screening against -glucosidase.
