Flexible solid-state-based supercapacitors are in demand for the soft components used in electronics. The increased attention paid toward solid-state electrolytes could be due to their advantages, including no leakage, special separators, and improved safety. Gel polymer electrolytes (GPEs) are preferred in the energy storage field, likely owing to their safety, lack of leakage, and compatibility with various separators as well as their higher ionic conductivity (IC) than traditional solid electrolytes.

The COVID-19 pandemic forced a societal shift from in-person to virtual activities, including scientific conferences. As society navigates a "new normal," the question arises as to the advantages and disadvantages of these alternative modalities. We introduce two new comprehensive datasets enabling direct comparison between virtual and in-person conferences: the first, from a series of nine small conferences, encompasses over 12,000 pairs of potential scientific collaborators across five virtual and four in-person meetings on a range of scientific topics; the expressed goal of these conferences is to create novel collaborations.

Background: In orthograde endodontic treatments, different methods are available to debride the pulp canals of endodontically compromised equine cheek teeth, but their efficacy is unknown.
Objectives: To explore and compare the efficacy and anatomical changes caused by manual versus reciprocating filing techniques in equine cheek teeth, to explore the presence of instrumentation mishaps described in human dentistry and to explore anatomical complexities of the pulp cavity that often remain uninstrumented using microcomputed tomography (μCT).
Study Design: Ex-vivo randomised experiments.

Introduction: Closure of large hernia defects with minimally invasive surgery has long-been a challenge. Barbed sutures have helped us bridge this technical gap, but their off-label use is not well studied.
Materials And Methods: We describe a suturing technique for minimally invasive ventral hernia repair (MIS-VHR) termed "progressive defect tensioning" and explore its theoretical advantages.

Rat pharmacokinetic studies are commonly utilized in early discovery to support absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion optimization of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The aim of this work was to compare exposures from fit-for-purpose oral suspension and solution formulations in rats to guidance provided by the refined Developability Classification System (rDCS) with respect to identifying potential limits to oral absorption, formulation strategy selection, and to optimize oral bioavailability (BA). This investigation utilized six diverse APIs covering a large range of biorelevant solubility, metabolic stability, and oral BA in rats.
