Objective: This study aims to quantitatively compare the effects of standard needle irrigation (SNI), passive ultrasonic irrigation (PUI), EDDY, photon-initiated photoacoustic streaming (PIPS), and shock wave-enhanced emission photoacoustic streaming (SWEEPS) on the apical extrusion of irrigation solutions in teeth with severe canal curvature.

Materials And Methods: Seventy-five teeth with a single root and canal, and curvature angles ranging from 20° to 40°, were selected for this study. Root canal curvatures were measured from buccolingual and mesiodistal radiographs using ImageJ software (version 1.

Purpose: Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is associated with morbidity and mortality in patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD). Several prediction models have been proposed to predict PH in ILD patients. We sought to discern how previously described prediction models perform in predicting PH in patients with ILD.

Objectives: Brain metastases are the most common intracranial malignancy in adults, and their detection is crucial for treatment planning. Post-contrast 3D T1 gradient-recalled echo (GRE) sequences are commonly used for this purpose, but contrast-enhanced 3D T1 turbo spin-echo (TSE) sequences with motion-sensitized driven-equilibrium (MSDE) technique ("black blood") may offer improved detection. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of contrast-enhanced 3D black blood sequences to standard 3D T1 GRE sequences in detecting brain metastases on a 1.

Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) is a clinical condition characterised by language difficulties without cognitive or neurological impairments, leading to communication and learning challenges. The study explores the narrative and linguistic abilities of children with DLD and Typically Developing (TD) peers by analysing both macrostructural and microstructural aspects of their narrative production elicited during a storytelling task and describing the types of grammatical and lexical errors. Participants included 19 children with expressive DLD aged 4-8 years and 19 TD children matched by age and gender.

Background: Background: This study investigates the effects of cognitive interventions on executive functions and attention in patients with moderate Alzheimer's, comparing traditional and technology-based methods with a control group.

Method: A randomized controlled trial was conducted with 112 participants, divided into three groups: traditional intervention, technology-based intervention, and control group. Sixteen sessions were carried out, assessed using standardized tests and applying hierarchical linear mixed models to adjust for confounding factors and random effects.
