Background: Burnout, disengagement, and turnover among clinicians is a major challenge for the US health care industry. Research has shown that higher direct supervisor leadership scores correlate with decreased provider burnout and increased professional fulfillment. Safety-net health systems such as Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) face increased challenges due to limited financial resources, more complex social determinants of health among patients, and often fewer physician leaders who can serve as mentors compared to large, integrated health systems.

Regular population monitoring of imperilled charismatic species such as large carnivores is critical for conservation. However, the role of monitoring in conservation is frequently diminished due to: 1) surveys being implemented in isolation, 2) limited on-ground-capacity leading to infrequent monitoring, and 3) inappropriate methods being applied. Wildlife monitoring is often resource-intensive and the utility and cost of different field protocols is rarely reported.

Malaria is a deadly disease caused by Plasmodium parasites. While potent drugs are available in the market for malaria treatment, over the years, Plasmodium parasites have successfully developed resistance against many, if not all, front-line drugs. This poses a serious threat to global malaria eradication efforts, and the continued discovery of new drugs is necessary to tackle this debilitating disease.

Background: Penicillin allergy is the most frequently reported drug allergy, yet most patients can tolerate the drug if challenged. Despite this discrepancy, large scale penicillin allergy de-labeling interventions have not been widely implemented in many health care systems. The application of a multi-method implementation science approach can provide key tools to study this evidence to practice gap and provide insight to successfully operationalize penicillin allergy evaluation in real-world clinical settings.
