Background: Cardiovascular involvement is a rare but severe complication of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infections. Patients with chronic active EBV (CAEBV) are at increased risk of developing cardiovascular complications and have a poor prognosis. Here, we report the rare case of a pediatric patient with CAEBV and EBV- hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) complicated with a giant coronary artery aneurysm (CAA) and thrombosis, a giant Valsalva sinus aneurysm, and ascending aorta dilation seven years after the disease onset.

Introduction: Management of urethral trauma lacks clarity in the paediatric population. There is no clear guidance for management and follow-up of these patients which can lead to missing the long-term sequelae of the primary injury. Catheter-associated urethral injuries are less likely to cause a complete transaction of the urethra.

Purpose: Idiopathic elevated episcleral venous pressure (IEEVP) or Radius-Maumenee syndrome (RMS) is a rare disease without any identified underlying cause. An increasing episcleral venous pressure (EVP) leads to raised intraocular pressure (IOP) and consequently glaucomatous damage of the optic nerve. The objective of this paper is to report this rare condition as well as its clinical management.
