The monkeypox virus (MPXV), which is a member of the Orthopoxvirus genus in the class Poxviridae, is the causative agent of the zoonotic viral infection MPXV. The disease is similar to smallpox, but it is usually less dangerous. This study examines the evolution of the MPXV epidemic in Canada with an emphasis on the effects of control employing actual data.

This study develops an Artificial Neural Network (ANN)-based framework to model the transmission dynamics and long-term disability outcomes of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD). Building on existing deterministic SEIR models, we extend the framework by introducing a disability compartment, capturing the progression of Ebola survivors to chronic health complications, such as post-Ebola syndrome. The proposed model stratifies the population into various epidemiological states, incorporating delays to better reflect the natural progression and intervention strategies associated with EVD.

In this paper, a novel age-structured epidemiological model that simultaneously considers multiple viral strains is proposed. We develop a numerical framework for the study of the dynamics and optimal control by a linearly implicit Euler method, in which the biological meaning is unconditionally preserved. The first order convergence of numerical solutions in a finite time is derived from a uniform numerical boundedness.

Latency in flux observation has an adverse effect on the performance of observer-based field-oriented speed control for three-phase induction motor (IM). The reduction of the convergent rate of estimation errors could improve the performance of speed-controlled IM based on flux observers. The main contribution is to design a fast convergent flux observer, which provides bounded estimation error immediately after one instant of motor startup.

Revisiting the classical target cell limited dynamical within-host HIV model - Basic mathematical properties and stability analysis.

In this article, we reconsider the classical target cell limited dynamical within-host HIV model, solely taking into account the interaction between $ {\rm{CD}}4^{+} $ T cells and virus particles. First, we summarize some analytical results regarding the corresponding dynamical system. For that purpose, we proved some analytical results regarding the system of differential equations as our first main contribution.
