Objective: This study aims to identify the acquisition features of functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) in cochlear implant users.
Methods: A systematic literature review was conducted following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. PubMed, EMBASE, LILACS, Web of Science, Scopus, PsycINFO, IEEE Xplore, Google Scholar, and ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global were searched using the PECOS acronym.

Introduction RTOG 1205 is the only randomized study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of reirradiation (reRT) in recurrent glioblastoma (GBM). While this study showed that reRT was safe and improves progression-free survival (PFS), an improved approach to reRT is still needed. In this study, we report on patterns of failure and outcomes in a cohort of patients with recurrent GBM who underwent reRT.

Glioblastoma is the most frequent type of primary brain tumors. Despite the advanced therapy, most of the patients die within 2 years after the diagnosis. The tumor has a typical appearance on MRI: a central hypointensity surrounded by an inhomogeneous, ring-shaped contrast enhancement along its border.
