Venous aneurysms are fairly rare entities as compared to arterial aneurysms. Very few cases of spontaneous external jugular venous aneurysms are documented in literature without any previous history of trauma. Bilateral involvement is a further scarce finding.

May-Thurner syndrome (MTS), iliac vein compression syndrome, also called Cockett syndrome, is a vascular disease caused by the compression of the left common iliac vein (LCIV) by the right common iliac artery (RCIA) against the lumbar vertebrae. This anatomical defect can lead to venous stasis especially in the left lower limb, and this increases the risk of deep venous thrombosis (DVT). Because routine screening is not standard practice, MTS frequently remains asymptomatic, and its prevalence is probably underestimated.

Introduction: More extensive and cohesive studies on quadriceps tendon rupture (QTR) repair surgery are required to guide effective treatment strategies. Therefore, in this study, we aimed to identify predictors of subjective functional recovery following QTR repair surgery.
Materials And Methods: This multicentre retrospective cohort study enrolled 191 adults (age ≥ 18 years) who underwent surgical unilateral QTR repair (2010-2022) and had ≥ 1-year postoperative follow-up at three trauma centres in Germany.

: Migraine is a common neurological disorder with highly variable characteristics. While genome-wide association studies have identified genetic risk factors that implicate underlying pathways, the influence of genetic susceptibility on disease characteristics or treatment response is incompletely understood. We examined the relationships between a previously developed standardized integrative migraine polygenic genetic risk score (PRS) and migraine characteristics in a real-world, treated patient cohort.

Background: Computed tomography (CT) is a critical tool for the diagnosis of pneumonia caused by SARS-CoV-2. The Delta and Omicron variants show distinct clinical features, but the radiological differences between pneumonia caused by these variants have not been extensively studied in patients with oxygen-dependent pneumonia.
Objective: To compare the radiological and clinical features of pneumonia in patients hospitalized with oxygen-dependent SARS-CoV-2 infection caused by the Delta and Omicron variants.
