Vertical control is one of the problems occasionally encountered in Straight wire treatment. Vertical problem was addressed in a more controlled manner using Tip-Edge technique In this case report Tip-edge was used in a vertically growing individual with mild crowding, proclined upper and lower incisors with skeletal class I malocclusion.

Inhomogeneous carrier transport at contact/GaN interfaces and thermal instability of vertical light-emitting diodes.

ACS Appl Mater Interfaces

November 2014

School of Semiconductor and Chemical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics Research Center, Chonbuk National University, Jeonju, Chonbuk 561-756, Korea.

The carrier-transport behavior at the interface of a contact and n-type GaN was investigated for group III nitride vertical light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Three types of samples were investigated including dry-etched flat Ga-polar n-GaN (GA), dry-etched flat N-polar n-GaN (NF), and wet-etched roughened N-polar n-GaN (NR). Schottky diodes fabricated using a palladium contact revealed that carrier transport at the contact/GaN interface could be understood in terms of the barrier inhomogeneity model, in which the local shallow barriers dominated the overall carrier transport.

Typodont models of bilateral canines gingival displaced vertically for 3 mm and bilateral lateral incisors palatal displaced horizontally for 3 mm are made and every kind of the two kind models was divided into four groups: MDD, MBT, self-ligating and Tip-Edge. Each group of the two kinds of models had 5 models, so a total of 40 models for the two kinds of models were set up. The experimental models were aligned with a 0.

Preliminary investigation of nonsurgical treatment of severe skeletal Class III malocclusion in the permanent dentition.

Angle Orthod

August 2003

Department of Orthodontics, School of Stomatology, Peking University, Beijing, People's Republic of China.

The purpose of the study was to analyze the effects of nonsurgical treatment on subjects with a severe skeletal Class III deformity and to directly evaluate dental and facial profile changes. Eighteen patients with severe skeletal Class III malocclusions (5 males, 13 females), diagnosed as indication for orthognathic surgery, were included in the study. The average age was 13.
