Purpose: Synthetic MR is a quantitative MRI method that measures tissue relaxation times and generates multiple contrast-weighted images using suitable algorithms. The present article principally discusses the multiple dynamic multiple echo (MDME) technique of synthetic MR and briefly describes other quantitative MR sequences.
Methods: Using illustrative cases, various applications of the MDME sequence in neuroradiology are explained.

Current early cancer diagnostic technologies, such as imaging, molecular tests, endoscopic techniques, and biopsies, face considerable challenges in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs) due to high costs, procedural complexity, and limited resource access. Microneedle-based liquid biopsy for skin interstitial fluid (ISF) offers a practical and minimally invasive alternative for cancer diagnosis in these settings. This review systematically examines ISF liquid biopsy methods for their effectiveness in capturing cancer biomarkers directly from the skin and assesses their potential to address diagnostic needs in low-resource environments.

Purpose: The purpose of this meta-ethnography is to integrate and synthesize nurses' and nurse leaders' perspectives on a health-promoting work environment to enhance understanding of its essential aspects.
Methods: A meta-ethnographic approach developed by Noblit and Hare was conducted.
Findings: Line of argument synthesis led to the development of an overarching tree metaphor: "cultivating a flourishing environmental tree rooted in values, held stable by leadership, and nurtured by safe working conditions.

Hormones orchestrate virtually all physiological processes in animals, and enable them to adjust internal responses to meet diverse physiological demands. Studies in both vertebrates and insects have uncovered many novel hormones and dissected the physiological mechanisms they regulate, demonstrating a remarkable conservation in endocrine signaling across the tree of life. In this review, we focus on recent advances in insect research, which have provided a more integrative view of the conserved interorgan communication networks that control physiology These new insights have been driven by experimental advantages inherent to insects, which over the past decades have aligned with new technologies and sophisticated genetic tools, to transform insect genetic models into a powerful testbed for posing new questions and exploring longstanding issues in endocrine research.
