The global HIV epidemic remains a major public health challenge, with DTG playing a key role in ART regimens due to its efficacy and tolerability. This study evaluated virological outcomes and resistance mutations in patients on DTG in Mozambique through a retrospective cohort study in seven DREAM centers. Data from 29,601 patients (98.

Comprehensive analysis of the succinylome in Vero cells infected with peste des petits ruminants virus Nigeria 75/1 vaccine strain.

BMC Vet Res

January 2025

State Key Laboratory for Animal Disease Control and Prevention, Lanzhou Veterinary Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Xujiaping 1, Yanchangpu, Chengguan District, Lanzhou, 730046, Gansu, China.

Background: Peste des petits ruminants virus (PPRV) is currently the only member of the Morbillivirus caprinae species within the genus Morbillivirus of the family Paramyoxviridae. PPRV causes a highly contagious disease in small ruminants, especially goats and sheep. Succinylation is a newly identified and conserved modification and plays an important role in host cell response to pathogen infection.

Distinct Circle of Willis anatomical configurations in healthy preterm born adults: a 3D time-of-flight magnetic resonance angiography study.

BMC Med Imaging

January 2025

Oxford Cardiovascular Clinical Research Facility, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine, Radcliffe Department of Medicine, Level 1, Oxford Heart Centre, John Radcliffe Hospital, University of Oxford, Oxford, OX3 9DU, UK.

Background: Preterm birth (< 37 weeks' gestation) alters cerebrovascular development due to the premature transition from a foetal to postnatal circulatory system, with potential implications for future cerebrovascular health. This study aims to explore potential differences in the Circle of Willis (CoW), a key arterial ring that perfuses the brain, of healthy adults born preterm.

Methods: A total of 255 participants (108 preterm, 147 full-term) were included in the analysis.

Chryxanthone A, an extracted substance from endophytic fungal Aspergillus versicolor, produces anti-oxidant neuroprotection possibly via the action on mTOR/CREB axis.

January 2025

Translational Medicine Center of Pain, Emotion and Cognition, Health Science Center, Ningbo University, Ningbo 315211 Zhejiang, China. Electronic address:

Background: Neurons are susceptible to oxidative stress due to the elevated reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and the limited antioxidant defense mechanisms. Therefore, it is possible to treat oxidative stress-related neurological disorders via the inhibition of oxidative stress. Chryxanthone A is an extracted substance derived from the endophytic fungal Aspergillus versicolor, with an atypical dihydropyran ring.

Revealing structure-performance relationship of biomimetic cyclodextrin metal-organic framework composite electrolytes for dendrite-free lithium metal batteries.

J Colloid Interface Sci

January 2025

State Key Laboratory of Organic-Inorganic Composites, College of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology, North Third Ring Road 15, Chaoyang District, Beijing 100029 PR China.

Cyclodextrin metal-organic frameworks (CD-MOFs) with infinitely extensible network structures show potential applications in lithium metal batteries. However, the disordered accumulation of CD-MOF particles leads to slow interparticle diffusion of ions, so the CD-MOF composite electrolytes are needed to be developed. In addition, the influences of CD-MOFs structure on the electrochemical performance of the composite electrolytes remains unclear.
