Advanced ovarian pregnancy is a quite rare condition. Due to the high maternal and neonatal mortality rates, early and accurate diagnosis is vital. Lack of sufficient data led us to search the literature and compile available data on the topic. A 33-year-old woman presented with acute abdomen at 34 weeks of gestation. She underwent laparotomy, which revealed a live foetus surrounded by an intact amnion membrane located in the left adnexal area. The patient delivered a live female infant. Heavy bleeding from the placenta necessitated salpingo oophorectomy. Histological examination of the removed tissue confirmed the ovarian pregnancy. Because of the substantial risk of adverse outcomes, this condition should be borne in mind, especially in cases presenting with acute abdomen during pregnancy.

Objective: To investigate the correlation between endometriosis (EMs) severity and placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) risk in the subsequent pregnancy.
Method: Clinical records of 2,142 patients who underwent laparoscopic surgery for EMs at Fujian Provincial Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2014 to January 2018, who had achieved pregnancy and were delivered, were analyzed. Baseline data, EMs stage, The Revised American Fertility Society (R-AFS) score, levels of serum indexes, and pregnancy and neonatal outcomes were recorded.

Aim: This study compared the cost-effectiveness of two recombinant follicle-stimulating hormones (rFSH) formulations, Follitropin Delta and Follitropin Alfa, in controlled ovarian stimulation using cumulative live birth rates as an efficacy indicator.
Methodology: This retrospective study was conducted across five clinics in Japan from April 2022 to December 2023, involving 446 first assisted reproductive technology (ART) cycles (200 with Follitropin Delta and 246 with Follitropin Alfa) were treated with rFSH monotherapy using either Follitropin Delta or Follitropin Alfa. We compared clinical outcomes such as cumulative pregnancy and live birth rates and analyzed cost-effectiveness using the cumulative live birth rates as the efficacy indicator and the incremental cost-effectiveness ratio (ICER).

Background: Modern assisted reproductive technology (ART), including pre-implantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A), has opened new avenues in understanding early embryonic events and has simultaneously raised questions about the impact of ART itself on sex ratios.
Aims: The primary aim was to investigate whether patient demographic characteristics, ovarian stimulation protocols or laboratory characteristics in ART influence sex ratios. The secondary aim was to relate the blastocyst sex ratio (BSR) to the corresponding secondary sex ratio (SSR) in our patient cohort.

Aims: Metformin has shown beneficial effects on reproduction in women. However, its use during pregnancy remains controversial, as metformin can cross the placenta. Most studies have focused on the metabolic impact on the offspring of treated mothers, with limited information regarding its reproductive effects.

In middle-aged (MA) female rats, we have demonstrated that intrahypothalamic gene therapy for insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) extends the regular cyclicity of the animals beyond 10 months (the age at which MA rats stop ovulating). Here, we implemented long-term OSKM gene therapy in the hypothalamus of young female rats. The main goal was to extend fertility in the treated animals.
