This paper describes the process of expanding the knowledge base and clinical practice for students in professional preparation programs in social work, nursing and education. Through a partnership of university faculty and administrators of a private school for students with learning and behavior problems, a transdisciplinary course was designed to address the need for providing future professionals an opportunity to understand multiple perspectives in the design of clinical interventions. The process of defining the course content, identifying appropriate required reading, and building connections to field work was a collaborative effort and less problematic than the logistics of implementation. Negotiating the administrative barriers to interprofessional collaboration involving curriculum innovation was more challenging. Discussion also includes the need for a shared vision and responsibility for improving practice, the practical implications of university funding and the benefits and challenges of transforming current treatment paradigms into one focused on interprofessional care.

Seeking consensus on physician leadership development in rural and remote Indonesian primary care settings: a Delphi study.

Leadersh Health Serv (Bradf Engl)

January 2025

Department of Educational Development and Research, Maastricht University, Maastricht, The Netherlands and Department of Pediatrics, Dr Horacio E Oduber Hospital, Oranjestad, Aruba.

Purpose: This study aims to formulate a consensus on primary care physicians' leadership competencies tailored to Indonesia's rural and remote health systems using the LEADS framework. Effective physician leaders are essential in these settings; however, many physicians lack the necessary leadership qualifications due to insufficient training. From a medical education perspective, this issue is further compounded by the lack of consensus on leadership course content.

A low-valent niobium species generated from NbCl and 1-methyl-3,6-bis(trimethylsilyl)-1,4-cyclohexadiene (-Me-CHD) in combination with PPh catalyzed a [2+2+1]-cycloaddition reaction of 3,3-disubstituted cyclopropenes and 2 equiv of diaryl/dialkylalkynes, leading to isomeric mixtures of multisubstituted cyclopentadienes -. The initial catalyst activation process was a one-electron reduction of NbCl with -Me-CHD to provide [NbCl(μ-Cl) (L)] (L = PMePh (), L = PPh ()) in the presence of phosphine ligands. An NMR spectroscopic time course experiment using complex as the catalyst revealed an induction period for the product formation, corresponding to an additional one-electron reduction of by the substrates to give catalytically active η-alkyne complexes of NbCl.

The multifaceted implications of global population aging require regular assessments of the current state of aging-related social science research and the identification of potential future research priorities in this important area. Given the multi-, inter-, and transdisciplinary nature of this field, such assessments typically require the involvement of experts from diverse backgrounds to ensure a comprehensive picture and to synthesize understudied and newly emerging topics into a future research agenda. We explored to what extent ChatGPT (version GPT-4, OpenAI) might be a useful tool for synthesizing the current state of research and identifying promising future research areas, which could feed into expert panel discussions for priority setting.

Introduction: Around 75% of (re)emerging infections are of zoonotic origins. The risk of zoonotic transmission in Mozambique is high because approximately 81% of the country's labor force is involved with agriculture, which represents a vulnerability for more frequent human-animal interaction and risk of spillover events. A One Health Zoonotic Disease Prioritization (OHZDP) workshop was conducted in Mozambique to facilitate coordination and collaboration within and across sectors to prevent, detect, and respond to zoonotic disease threats.
