Background: Caregiver-involved treatments for adolescents with alcohol use disorder and co-occurring disorders (AUD+CODs) are associated with the best treatment outcomes. Understanding what caregiving practices during treatment improve core adolescent treatment targets may facilitate the refinement and scalability of caregiver-involved interventions. Caregiving is dynamic, varying by context, affect, and adolescent behavior.

Objective: The aim of this study is to develop, implement the precise reservation path (PRP) and investigate its prediction function for scheduling shunting patients for specialist appointment registration in Shanghai, China.
Design: The PRP system was built on the hospital's existing information system, integrated with WeChat (WeCom) for user convenience. The outcome analysis employed a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative analysis with statistical and machine learning techniques, including multivariate logistic regression, random forest (RF) and artificial neural network (ANN) analysis.

Objective: People living with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) in Kenya lack access to recovery-based services. In this study, we assessed changes in recovery in people living with SPMI in Kenya 6 months after receiving services at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Nawiri Recovery and Skills Centre (Nawiri).
Methods: A retrospective evaluation was conducted using a pretest/posttest design analyzing Nawiri care program data collected on admission and 6 months after discharge for recovery metrics.

The nature of data obtainable from the commercial smartphone - bolstered by a translational model emphasizing the impact of social and physical zeitgebers on circadian rhythms and mood - offers the possibility of scalable and objective vital signs for major depression. Our objective was to explore associations between passively sensed behavioral smartphone data and repeatedly measured depressive symptoms to suggest which features could eventually lead towards vital signs for depression. We collected continuous behavioral data and bi-weekly depressive symptoms (PHQ-8) from 131 psychiatric outpatients with a lifetime DSM-5 diagnosis of depression and/or anxiety over a 16-week period.

Proactive planning can ensure desired implementation determinants and outcomes are captured for hybrid studies, but operational guidance for DHI studies is limited.
Methods: We planned a cluster randomized, type II hybrid effectiveness-implementation trial testing PositiveLinks, a smartphone application for HIV care, compared to usual care (n = 6 sites per arm), among HIV outpatient sites in the DC Cohort Longitudinal HIV Study in Washington, DC.
