Providing a current awareness service to patrons has long been a concern of many health sciences librarians. Dental librarians have a unique challenge in providing current awareness to patrons as the literature has not always been available in a timely manner through traditional systems. This article will discuss the evolution of current awareness systems, the issues facing dental librarians with regard to providing dental current awareness, and how the Wilson Dental Library addressed those issues.

Background: Paragangliomas are rare neoplasms arising from extra-adrenal chromaffin cells, with mediastinal paragangliomas representing an exceptionally rare subset. This report details the surgical management of a complex mediastinal paraganglioma case, presenting with refractory hypertension and invasion of critical surrounding structures. A comprehensive review of the current literature is included to underscore existing cases, enhance clinical awareness, and share our insights and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of this challenging condition.

Purposeof Review: In this article, we explore the current literature on traumatic brain injury (TBI) in survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) and evaluate the barriers to studying this vulnerable population.
Recent Findings: Research on TBI and IPV is limited by multiple factors including mistrust of the healthcare system by survivors, lack of awareness by community advocates, and insufficient funding by public entities. As such, most investigations are small population, retrospective, and qualitative.
