Purpose: To investigate the clinical features and prognosis of severe central nervous system (CNS) injury in children caused by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Method: We retrospectively studied confirmed pediatric cases of COVID-19 complicated with CNS injury.
Results: Nine patients diagnosed with COVID-19 complicated with severe CNS injury were admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit of the Affiliated Hospital of Jining University from December 1, 2022 to January 12, 2023.

Background: Concurrent Micra leadless pacemaker (Medtronic, Minneapolis, Minnesota) implantation and atrioventricular node (AVN) ablation has been shown to be feasible and safe in patients with symptomatic, drug-refractory atrial fibrillation (AF). However, major complications within the 30 days after concurrent Micra implantation and AVN ablation have been reported. Noninvasive methods for intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring have emerged, but none has successfully replaced invasive techniques. This observational study developed and tested a machine learning (ML) model to estimate ICP using waveforms from a cranial extensometer device (brain4care [B4C] System). The model explored multiple waveform parameters to optimize mean ICP estimation.
