Purpose: To review our intraoperative complications of retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS) for kidney calculi and stratify these complications according to the modified Satava classification system (SCS).
Patients And Methods: 230 patients (119 males, 111 females) who underwent RIRS because of kidney calculi were analyzed. We documented and stratified the intraoperative complications according to the modified SCS. There are four grades for this classification: grade 1 complications include events without consequences for patients; grade 2a complications include events that could be treated with endoscopic surgery intraoperatively; grade 2b complications include events which were treated with endoscopic treatment in another session, and grade 3 describes the events requiring laparoscopic or open surgery.
Results: Mean age was 39.1 years (range 1-78). The stone-free rate after one session was 81%. Intraoperative complications were recorded in 30.4% of the patients. According to the modified SCS, grade 1 complications were documented in 15.9%, grade 2a complications were documented in 5.6%, and grade 2b complications were documented in 8.9% of the patients. Grade 3 complications were not detected in any of the patients.
Conclusion: In our opinion, the modified SCS can facilitate patients to understand the safety of this surgery and can make it easier to compare the results of different institutes and surgeons.

Introduction: There is a lack of clinical evidence supporting the decision-making process between high tibial osteotomy (HTO) and unicomparmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) in gray zone indication, such as moderate medial osteoarthritis with moderate varus alignment. This study compared the outcomes between HTO and UKA in such cases and assessed the risk factor for not maintaining clinical improvements.
Materials And Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 65 opening-wedge HTOs and 55 UKAs with moderate medial osteoarthritis (Kellgren-Lawrence grade ≥ 3 and Ahlback grade < 3) and moderate varus alignment (5°< Hip-Knee-Ankle angle < 10°) over 3 years follow-up.

Purpose Of Review: To outline the latest discoveries regarding the utility and reliability of serum biomarkers in idiopathic recurrent acute pericarditis (IRAP), considering recent findings on its pathogenesis. The study highlights the predictive role of these biomarkers in potential short- (cardiac tamponade, recurrences) and long-term complications (constrictive pericarditis, death).
Recent Findings: The pathogenesis of pericarditis has been better defined in recent years, focusing on the autoinflammatory pathway.

The artificial urinary sphincter has been an effective treatment for stress urinary incontinence caused by intrinsic sphincter deficiency in women. However, the use of this device has been limited by the technical difficulties and risks associated with the open implantation procedure. Preliminary studies using robotic techniques have shown promising results, but only one small study has compared robotic to open procedures.

: The diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis should be based on the best available evidence. Emphasising the risk of bias, the pyramid of evidence has the double-blind, randomised controlled trial and its meta-analyses on top. After the grading of all evidence by a group of experts, clinical guidelines are formulated using well-defined rules.

Acetabular fractures are rare fractures of the pelvis which usually result from trauma. Whilst data are reported on sexual and genitourinary function in those with pelvic fractures, less is known about those with isolated acetabulum fractures. This systematic review aimed to determine, first, the frequency of sexual and genitourinary dysfunction following isolated acetabulum fractures and, second, the nature of these complications.
