Duplication of inferior vena cava (IVC) is a rare finding in radiologic studies and its coincidence with thrombosis is even rarer. Here we described a rare case with duplication of IVC and symptomatic venous thrombosis of her lower extrimity.

Purpose: A persistent trigeminal artery is the most common persistent carotid-vertebrobasilar anastomosis. Persistent trigeminal artery variants (PTAVs) terminate in the cerebellar arteries without connecting to the basilar artery; of these, the anterior inferior cerebellar artery (AICA) is the most common. AICA duplication is frequently observed.

Inferior vena cava aneurysms (IVCAs) are rare yet potentially lethal, especially if they are symptomatic or complicated. Among the IVCAs reported in the literature, only a few are associated with congenital vascular anomalies, including congenital IVC obstruction, tetralogy of Fallot, left-sided IVC, duplicated IVC, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, blue rubber bleb nevus syndrome, and Klipper-Trenaunay syndrome. We present the case of an 8-cm symptomatic saccular IVCA in a patient with tetralogy of Fallot, treated successfully with surgical repair.

Background: Current advances in high-throughput sequencing technology enable the precise identification of Y chromosome microdeletion and primary duplication in infertile couples, but the mechanism and clinical significance of these mutations in assisted reproductive techniques remain unclear.
Objectives: To investigate the effects of AZFc (b2/b4, b1/b3, b2/b3, and gr/gr) deletions and primary duplications on the outcomes of the first intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) treatment cycle.
Methods: Y chromosome microdeletions and primary duplications in infertile men were detected using next-generation sequencing (NGS) technology.
