Acute lymphoblastic leukemia is the most prevalent form of leukemia in children and adolescents. Despite high survival rates due to advanced treatments, these therapies often result in significant treatment-related adverse effects. This scoping review explores dietary supplementation strategies for managing these adverse effects in pediatric leukemia patients.

Background: Osteoporosis, a frequent complication of gastrectomy, increases with age, and the average age of gastric cancer patients continues to rise. This study aims to analyze perioperative factors of osteoporosis after radical gastrectomy.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective cohort study included patients who underwent dual-energy-X-ray absorptiometry after gastrectomy due to gastric cancer between 2016 and 2019 at Seoul Boramae Medical Center.

Calcidiol (25(OH)VD) and calcitriol (1α,25(OH)VD) are active vitamin D with high medicinal value, which can maintain calcium and phosphorus balance and treat vitamin D deficiency. Microbial synthesis is an important method to produce high-value-added compounds. It can produce active vitamin D through the hydroxylation reaction of P450, which can reduce the traditional chemical synthesis steps, and greatly improve the production efficiency and economic benefits.

: Hemophilia A is an X-linked recessive illness produced by a deficiency of coagulation factor VIII. This study aimed to evaluate serum vitamin D in hemophilic pediatric patients and its correlation with joint health and quality of life. : This case-control study was performed on ninety children under the age of 18 years old and separated into two groups: study group of 45 children with hemophilia A and control group of 45 healthy children at an outpatient pediatric hematology clinic at the Beni-Suef University hospitals.

Objective: Vitamin D deficiency (VDD) in children can cause hypocalcaemia and rickets, but the prevalence of these complications and the 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25OHD) concentrations below which they arise is uncertain. We investigated this in children (< 18 years) with 25OHD measurements.
Design, Measurement And Patients: We obtained 25OHD results from the regional laboratory database, alongside albumin-adjusted serum calcium (aCa), parathyroid hormone (PTH) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) within 6 months of the index 25OHD.
