A 35-year-old woman presented with a progressive 3-year history of personality changes and gait impairment. Neurologic examination revealed bilateral optic atrophy, spastic paraparesis, and impaired vibratory sensation in all limbs, and neuropsychological evaluation identified a frontotemporal cognitive impairment. In this article, we review the differential diagnosis for a young woman with chronic frontotemporal dysfunction, optic atrophy, and dorsolateral myelopathy in a stepwise multidisciplinary approach.

We aimed to design a diagnostic decision support which classifies dyspnoeic ED visits into acute heart failure (AHF), exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (eCOPD), pneumonia and "other diagnoses" by using deep learning and complete, unselected data from an entire regional health care system.
Methods: In this cross-sectional study, we included all dyspnoeic ED visits of patients ≥ 18 years of age at the two EDs in the region of Halland, Sweden, 07/01/2017-12/31/2019.

The Community Paramedicine at Clinic (CP@clinic) program is a community program that utilizes community paramedics to support older adults in assessing their risk factors, managing their chronic conditions, and linking them to community resources. The aim of this project is to design a low-cost, portable, secure, user-friendly database for CP@clinic sessions and pilot test the database with paramedics and older adult volunteers. The CP@clinic program database using the Microsoft Access software was first developed through consultation with the CP@clinic research team.

Currently, targeted biological therapy is an innovative and highly effective approach in the treatment of severe chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) associated with T2 inflammation that is uncontrolled by standard treatment methods. The article presents the first experience of long-term observation of a patient who, one year after the start of targeted biological therapy with dupilumab, independently stopped the treatment due to complete relief of symptoms of CRSwNP, despite recommendations to continue therapy to maintain control. At the same time, one year after the refusal of biological therapy, the patient showed persistent clinical remission in relation to the symptoms of CRSwNP, confirmed by the results of videoendoscopic examination of the nasal cavity and computed tomography of the sinuses.
