A 28 year old female presented to us with cock's peculiar tumour. This tumour is one of the complications of sebaceous cyst. Patient underwent excision for the same. We are presenting this case for rarity.

I must first apologise to my readers for including in this series a condition which I have never personally seen in 40 years of general surgery, nor, I believe, have any of the readers of this article. The condition, described by Cock in 1852 and eponymously known as Cock's peculiar tumour, is compared to giant proliferative pilar cyst. These entities are probably synonymous.
