A case of posterior dislocation of the long head of biceps tendon, a rare occurrence following traumatic anterior glenohumeral dislocation, along with complete rotator cuff rupture and large haemarthrosis is presented with imaging and intra-operative findings. The interposed tendon prevented complete reduction. Appearances at MRI were diagnostic and directed the surgical approach.

Case: We present 3 cases demonstrating radiographic posterior subluxation in lateral functional radiographs taken in the flexed-seated position. Two of the patients were asymptomatic, and 2 showed the posterior translation of the femoral head, which is almost a dislocation, with spontaneous reduction. The subluxation can occur not only in patients after lumbar fusion surgery but also in patients with relatively normal lumbar spine due to excessive hip flexion.

Case: A 75-year-old woman status post total shoulder arthroplasty and posterior rib resection 29 years previously experienced a low-energy intrathoracic scapular dislocation (ISD). Closed reduction under anesthesia was unsuccessful, and she required open surgical repair performed by a novel modification of Kibler's technique for medial scapular muscle repair.
