5F-EDMB-PICA is a newly emerged synthetic cannabinoid which has been characterized in relevant literature in recent years. Although phase-I metabolites of 5F-EDMB-PICA have been partly reported, the phase-II metabolism of this synthetic cannabinoid has not been studied yet. In this study, we established a phase-I and phase-II metabolism model in vitro by using pooled human liver microsomes, NADPH regeneration system, and UGT incubation system, with 1 mg/ml 5F-EDMB-PICA added and incubated at 37 °C for 60 min.

The coordination between carrier and active metal is critical to the catalytic efficiency of ammonia borane (AB) hydrolysis reaction. In the present study, we report a new type of catalytic support based on molybdenum boride (MBene) MoAlB and demonstrate that the effective combination of MoAlB with Ru nanoparticles can realize the significantly enhanced performance for hydrogen generation. Owing to the efficient activation and dissociation of reactants, the optimal Ru/MoAlB catalyst achieves the large turnover frequency of 494 mol mol min, high hydrogen generation rate of 119817 mL min g and favorable apparent activation energy of 39.

Graphene is a good support for immobilizing catalysts, due to its large theoretical specific surface area and high electric conductivity. Solid chemical converted graphene, in a form with multiple layers, decreases the practical specific surface area. Building pores in graphene can increase specific surface area and provide anchor sites for catalysts.

Polymer research is currently focused on sustainable and degradable polymers which are cheap, easy to synthesize, and environmentally friendly. Silicon-based polymers are thermally stable and can be utilized in various applications, such as columns and coatings. Poly(silyl ether)s (PSEs) are an interesting class of silicon-based polymers that are easily hydrolyzed in either acidic or basic conditions due to the presence of the silyl ether Si-O-C bond.

The development of low-cost and high-efficiency catalysts for the hydrolytic dehydrogenation of ammonia borane (AB, NHBH) is still a challenging technology. Herein, ultrafine MoO-doped Ni nanoparticles (~3.0 nm) were anchored on g-CN@glucose-derived nitrogen-doped carbon nanosheets via a phosphate-mediated method.
