Overexpressed AXL kinase is involved in various human malignancies, which incurs tumor progression, poor prognosis, and drug resistance. Suppression of the aberrant AXL axis with genetic tools or small-molecule inhibitors has achieved valid antitumor efficacies in both preclinical studies and clinical antitumor campaigns. Herein we will report the design, synthesis, and structure-activity relationship (SAR) exploration of a series of anilinopyrimidine type II AXL inhibitors.

Parent-led cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is an efficient, promising form of therapy that may be well suited for autistic youth with anxiety disorders. A recent clinical trial found that parent-led CBT - in which parents led their child through a guided CBT workbook with varying degrees of therapist support - was efficacious for reducing anxiety and associated functional impairment. While such findings demonstrate promise for future intervention development and dissemination efforts with this population, more work is needed to elucidate clinical factors that impact response to treatment as well as drop-out.

The first-line treatment for chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL) has recently undergone major changes, and targeted therapies have ushered in a new era of CLL/SLL treatment. Scientists in different countries have successively analyzed the efficacy of various drugs, but safety studies are relatively insufficient. Therefore, this systematic evaluation and retrospective meta-analysis was conducted to compare the differences in adverse effects and their incidence among first-line treatment regimens for CLL/SLL.

Objectives: This study aimed to quantitatively evaluate the efficacy and safety of first-line systemic therapies for treating advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (aHCC).
Methods: The study included clinical trials of first-line systemic therapies for aHCC since the approval of sorafenib in 2007. Hazard function models were used to describe changes in overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) over time.
