Rupture of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) due to an isolated type II endoleak (TIIEL) is rarely reported, accounting for less than 1% of all TIIELs; typically, rupture associated with TIIEL is accompanied by type I or type III endoleaks. We report a case of ruptured AAA secondary to TIIEL without any other types of endoleaks, occurring late after endovascular abdominal aortic repair (EVAR). A 77-year-old man with a history of EVAR 11 years earlier presented with abdominal pain.

A 77-year-old man had severe aortic stenosis and continuous atrial fibrillation. We performed maze procedure without left atrial incision( Dallas lesion set) during aortic valve replacement for this patient. Dallas lesion set alternates the isolation of mitral isthmus by connecting ablation line beneath left coronary cusp and noncoronary cusp commissure of the aortic valve with ablation from epicardial side of the upper left atrium.

Leprosy remains a persistent health challenge in endemic regions with cases rising in non-endemic regions such as North America. Patients with leprosy present with a variety of symptoms including limited skin lesions in tuberculoid leprosy to extensive lesions and high bacterial proliferation in lepromatous leprosy. This case report details a 77-year-old Canadian man of South Asian descent with lepromatous leprosy and Lucio's phenomenon in Western Canada.

Gallium-Fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (Ga-FAPI) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) is increasingly used for evaluating various epithelial neoplasms. Despite addressing some pitfalls, many remain unacknowledged. This report details a 77-year-old man with suspected pancreatic malignancy who underwent a Ga-FAPI PET/CT scan post-gastroduodenal coil embolization for upper gastrointestinal bleeding.

The standard of care is a systemic chemotherapy but the prognosis of metastatic patients remains extremely poor with a median overall survival less than one year. However, there is increasing evidence of surgery treatment benefit in a carefully selected oligometastatic cases.
