Altogether 141 prescriptions in the Jin xiao fang (Prescriptions of Instant Effect), a lost recipe book of the Tang Dynasty are cited in the Wai tai mi yao (Medical Secrets of An Official). Based on the analysis of these citations, it can be sure that the Jin xiao fang was written by Li Jian-yi of the Tang Dynasty, and completed around 724 to 733. These cited prescriptions are related to the clinical subjects, with complicate origins, for example, physicians and scholars. It is characterized by its "xiao yan (efficacy)".

Radiofrequency (RF) catheter ablation treats cardiac diseases by inducing thermal lesion of cardiac tissues through radiofrequency energy operating at around 500 kHz. The electromagnetic wavelength is significantly longer than the size of the radiofrequency active electrode, the tissue is heated through resistive heating. During thermal ablation, the coupled thermo-mechanical property of cardiac tissue influencing the contact area between the electrode and tissue plays a crucial role in the formation of thermal lesions, yet the literature often overlooks the effect of thermal deformation.

Understanding transition states is pivotal in the design of efficient chemical processes and catalysts. However, identifying transition states is challenging due to the resource-intensive and iterative nature of current computational methods. This study integrates neural network potentials with physical models to enhance the transition state prediction.

Genotype restriction poses a significant bottleneck to stable transformation in the vast majority of plant species, thereby severely impeding advancement in plant bioengineering, particularly for crops. Nanoparticles (NPs) can serve as effective carriers for the transient delivery of nucleic acids, facilitating gene overexpression or silencing in plants in a genotype-independent manner. However, the applications of NP-mediated transient systems in comprehensive genomic studies remained underexplored in plants, especially in crops that face challenges in genetic transformation.

Influenza A virus (IAV) is a significant zoonotic pathogen that poses a considerable challenge to public health due to its continuous mutations. Lipid droplets (LDs) have been shown to play an important role in the process of several viral infections. However, their role in IAV infection remains unclear.

Objective: The conventional treatment for oral and maxillofacial abscesses involves incision and drainage. However, postoperative dressing changes often cause pain and other discomfort to patients. Therefore, we explored the use of vacuum sealing drainage (VSD) technology for treating oral and maxillofacial abscesses.
