Introduction: The current literature on the prevalence and potential association between disease-modifying therapies (DMTs) and cancer risk in the MS population has yielded mixed findings.
Methods: This study aimed to estimate cancer prevalence and cancer risk in patients with MS (PwMS) under prolonged DMT exposure. Database search include: MEDLINE PUBMED, SCOPUS, and Google Scholar.

Pemphigus vulgaris (PV) is a group of autoimmune bullous diseases characterized by life-threatening intradermal blisters. Hashimoto thyroiditis (HT) is a kind of autoimmune disease with abnormal increase of thyroid peroxidase autoantibody (TPOAb), which is the thyroid specific antibody, leading to hypothyroidism. In recent years, the probability of HT in patients with PV is increasing, and the co-disease may be related to the effect of TPOAb autoantibody on oral keratinocytes.

A woman in her 50s presented with redness, eye pain, watering and photophobia of the left eye starting 1 week after she tested positive for COVID-19. She was diagnosed with left eye episcleritis and started on topical steroids. As the steroids were being gradually tapered, she developed a recurrence.

Objective: The duration of viral shedding and criteria for de-isolation in the hospital among immunocompromised patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) remain unclear. This study aimed to evaluate viral shedding duration in immunocompromised patients infected with the Omicron variant of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2.
Methods: A prospective cohort study was performed at 2 tertiary medical centers in Japan during the Omicron epidemic waves from July 2022 to January 2023.

There is mounting evidence for the involvement of the immune system, neuroinflammation and disturbed gut microbiota, or dysbiosis, in attentive-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Gut dysbiosis is strongly implicated in many physical, autoimmune, neurological, and neuropsychiatric conditions, however knowledge of its particular pathogenic role in ADHD is sparse. As such, this narrative review examines and synthesizes the available evidence related to inflammation, dysbiosis, and neural processes in ADHD.
