The development of a single and multiplex gene editing system is highly desirable for either functional genomics or pyramiding beneficial alleles in crop improvement. CRISPR/Cas12i3, which belongs to the Class II Type V-I Cas system, has attracted extensive attention recently due to its smaller protein size and less restricted canonical "TTN" protospacer adjacent motif (PAM). However, due to its relatively lower editing efficiency, Cas12i3-mediated multiplex gene editing has not yet been documented in plants.

In the highly competitive, perennially-changing healthcare industry, management prowess is vitally needed by those in positions of authority, but in isolation it is insufficient for delivering optimal results. Instead, management proficiencies must be complemented by leadership skills which amplify managerial efforts and outcomes. To enhance leadership acumen and intelligence among the managerial ranks, many healthcare organizations establish leadership development programs. Doing so makes perfect sense as the caliber of leadership within health and medical institutions profoundly influences all aspects of operation. Although leadership development programs are very capable mechanisms for advancing the state of leadership within healthcare organizations, a notable enhancement-evaluation-is needed to maximize their potential.

Aim: To develop and validate an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered tool based on convolutional neural network (CNN) for automatic segmentation of root canals in single-rooted teeth using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT).
Methodology: A total of 69 CBCT scans were retrospectively recruited from a hospital database and acquired from two devices with varying protocols. These scans were randomly assigned to the training (n = 31, 88 teeth), validation (n = 8, 15 teeth) and testing (n = 30, 120 teeth) sets.

Aim: This study assessed the prevalence and etiological factors of maxillary midline diastema (MMD) in students attending different colleges and universities in Al-Hodeidah governorate, Yemen.
Participants And Methods: A total of 1,661 participants from different universities in Al-Hodeidah governorate were assessed, analyzed, and screened for the presence or absence of MMD. Only 246 had positive MMD and were divided five age-groups.
