The synthesis of a novel series of dopamine receptor agonists are described as well as their in vitro potency and efficacy on dopamine D₁ and D₂ receptors. This series was designed from pergolide and (4aR,10aR)-1-propyl-1,2,3,4,4a,5,10,10a-octahydro-benzo[g]quinolin-6-ol (PHBQ) and resulted in the synthesis of (2R,4aR,10aR)-2-methylsulfanylmethyl-4-propyl-3,4,4a,5,10,10a-hexahydro-2H-naphtho[2,3-b][1,4]oxazin-9-ol (compound 27), which has a D₁ and D₂ receptor profile similar to that of the most recently approved drug for Parkinson's disease, rotigotine.

Background: The localization of pulmonary nodules is crucial for surgical intervention. However, a safe, simple, and efficient method remains elusive. This study aims to evaluate the safety and feasibility of a newly developed preoperative localization method for pulmonary nodules called Rapid Localization of Pulmonary Nodules On-Site (RLPN-OS).

The P2YR is activated by UDP and UDP glucose and is involved in many human inflammatory diseases. Based on the molecular docking analysis of currently reported P2YR antagonists and the crystallographic overlap study between PPTN and compound , a series of 3-substituted 5-amidobenzoate derivatives were designed, synthesized, and identified as promising P2YR antagonists. The optimal compound (methyl 3-(1-benzo[]imidazol-2-yl)-5-(2-(-tolyl) acetamido)benzoate, IC = 0.

In this study, a series of experiments and computational analyses were conducted to rationally design novel insect hormone agonists. Syntheses and quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) analyses of two MH agonist chemotypes, imidazothiadiazoles and tetrahydroquinolines, revealed that the structural factors important for the ligand-receptor interactions are significantly different between these chemotypes.

In this paper, a series of novel quinazoline-4(3)-one-2-carbothioamide derivatives (8a-p) were designed and synthesized the Wilgerodt-Kindler reaction between 2-methylquinazoline-4-one 10 and amines using S/DMSO as the oxidizing system. Their characteristics were confirmed by IR, NMR, HRMS spectra, and their melting point. These novel derivatives (8a-p) were evaluated for their anti-inflammatory activity by inhibiting NO production in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-activated RAW 264.

The epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is a dynamic transdifferentiation of epithelial cells into mesenchymal cells. EMT programs exhibit great diversity, based primarily on the distinct impact of molecular activities of the EMT transcription factors. Using a panel of cancer cell lines and a series of 71 triple-negative primary breast tumors, we report that the EMT transcription factor ZEB1 modulates site-specific chemical modifications of ribosomal RNA (rRNA).
