Background: The treatment of advanced colorectal cancer (CRC) has progressed slowly, with chemotherapy combined with targeted therapy being the first-line treatment for the disease, but the improvement in efficacy is not satisfactory. Compound Kushen injection (CKI) is one of the representative drugs of anti-cancer Chinese herbal injection drugs, which has been widely used in the adjunct treatment of cancer in China. The aim of this trial is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of CKI combined with first-line treatment of advanced CRC.

Given the heterogeneous nature of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and the absence of established biomarkers, accurate diagnosis and effective treatment remain a challenge in clinical practice. This study investigates the predictive utility of multimodal data, including eye tracking, EEG, actigraphy, and behavioral indices, in differentiating adults with ADHD from healthy individuals. Using a support vector machine model, we analyzed independent training (n = 50) and test (n = 36) samples from two clinically controlled studies.

Background/aim: Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) belongs to the perivascular epithelioid cell tumor (PEComa) family. The relationship between LAM and tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is of particular concern in a subset of women with clinically occult LAM involving the pelvic lymph nodes. This study aimed to investigate the clinicopathological features of incidental nodal LAM detected during the surgical staging of gynecological tumors.

Background/aim: This study aimed to investigate the safety and efficacy of deferoxamine (DFO) pretreated feline adipose tissue derived mesenchymal stem cells (fATMSCs) for the treatment of inflammatory disorders.

Materials And Methods: fATMSCs were isolated from feline adipose tissue and characterized using flow cytometry for surface marker expression and differentiation assays for adipogenic, osteogenic, and chondrogenic lineages. Different concentrations of DFO were used to evaluate its impact on fATMSC activity.

Department of Pathology and Translational Genomics, Samsung Medical Center, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine, Seoul, Republic of Korea

Background/aim: Dysregulation of claudin 6 (CLDN6) expression has been widely documented in various malignancies. CLDN6 is aberrantly expressed in many types of human carcinomas; however, its clinical significance in endometrial carcinoma has seldom been investigated. This study aimed to examine the immunohistochemical expression status of CLDN6 in low-grade, early-stage endometrioid endometrial carcinoma (LGES-EEC) and to assess its clinicopathological significance.
