Possibilities of application of immunomorphologic methods to gastrointestinal apud cells study were evaluated. These are: immunofluorescent, immunoenzyme, immune-peroxidase, peroxidase-antiperoxidase, avidinbiotin. Causes of immunologic and non-immunologic non-specific background staining and the means of its elimination are discussed, as well as problems of fixation and embedding of the material.

Background and objective Lymphomas can involve the gastrointestinal (GI) tract as a primary disease or as a secondary spread of systemic disease. The GI tract is a key site for extranodal lymphomas, with Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) occurring in this region. This study aimed to analyze the demography, anatomic distribution, histological subtypes, and immunomorphological characteristics of all lymphomas with a primary GI presentation at a quaternary care hospital in southern India.

Unlabelled: In recent years, the prevalence of thoracic aortic aneurysm has increased, and in most cases this pathological condition is diagnosed accidentally. The aim of the current study was to determine the relationship of clinical, laboratory and morphological data with the presence of aorta wall dissection in patients with thoracic aortic aneurysm to reveal factors associated with aorta dissection.
Materials And Methods: The following data of 109 patients mean aged of 53 years with thoracic aortic aneurysm (43 patients with aortic dissection) were analyzed: presence/absence of arterial hypertension, indicators of general blood analysis and blood biochemistry, immunomorphological characteristics of the expression of Von Willebrand factor.
Aim: To define the role of clinical, endoscopic, laboratory and immunomorphological parameters in predicting the occurrence and course of colorectal cancer (CRC) in patients with diverticular disease of the colon (DDC).
Materials And Methods: One hundred and seventy five people with DDC were examined, divided into 3 groups: group 1 - 85 patients with DDC; group 2 - 45 with DDC in combination with adenomatous polyps (AP); 3rd group - 45 with DDC with established CRC (I or II stage). The control group consisted of 30 practically healthy people.
