The effects of bilingual education on reading and math achievement were examined by comparing test scores across different elementary-school programs. Results revealed that bilingual programs benefited both minority-language and majority-language students. Minority-language students in outperformed their peers in , while majority-language students in outperformed their peers in monolingual classrooms. Bilingual programs may enhance reading and math skills in both minority-language and majority-language elementary-school children.

Background: The wireless capsule endoscope (CE) is a valuable diagnostic tool in gastroenterology, offering a safe and minimally invasive visualization of the gastrointestinal tract. One of the few drawbacks identified by the gastroenterology community is the time-consuming task of analyzing CE videos.
Objectives: This article investigates the feasibility of a computer-aided diagnostic method to speed up CE video analysis.

The thirst for more efficient computational paradigms has reignited interest in computation in memory (CIM), a burgeoning topic that pivots on the strengths of more versatile logic systems. Surging ahead in this innovative milieu, multi-valued logic systems have been identified as possessing the potential to amplify storage density and computation efficacy. Notably, ternary logic has attracted widespread research owing to its relatively lower computational and storage complexity, offering a promising alternative to the traditional binary logic computation.

Participants included 325 third-grade students in the southwestern United States who performed at or below the 25th percentile on a word-problem measure. We assessed generalized language skills in word reading, passage comprehension, and vocabulary knowledge.

The widespread propagation of wireless communication devices, from smartphones and tablets to Internet of Things (IoT) systems, has become an integral part of modern life. However, the expansion of wireless technology has also raised public concern about the potential health risks associated with prolonged exposure to electromagnetic fields. Our objective is to determine the optimal machine learning model for constructing electric field strength maps across urban areas, enhancing the field of environmental monitoring with the aid of sensor-based data collection.
