Objective: The study evaluated the effectiveness and safety of single-stage versus multistage endovascular treatment in subarachnoid hemorrhage patients with Mirror Aneurysms.
Materials And Methods: Our research team performed a prospective study, focusing on the radiographic and clinical data of patients diagnosed with subarachnoid hemorrhage, specifically those who presented with Mirror Aneurysms upon admission to our institutions. According to the different endovascular treatment stages, these patients were grouped into the multistage cohort and the single-stage cohort.

Mirror aneurysms are rare and pose therapeutic challenges, with both endovascular and microsurgical options available. Single-stage and two-stage procedures are employed, but the optimal strategy remains unclear. This systematic review and meta-analysis evaluate the efficacy and safety of different therapeutic strategies for managing mirror aneurysms.

Introduction: Mirror intracranial aneurysms (MIAs) are intracranial aneurysms (IAs) located bilaterally and symmetrically on either side of the circle of Willis. This study explored the characteristics of MIAs and examined their prevalence at various intracranial locations in a large international population with multiple IAs, aimed at shedding light on the concept of MIA.
Method: Data were collected from cohorts of patients in France and Finland with ≥2 definite saccular arterial dilatations at intracranial vessel bifurcations.
