Background: The distal ulnar-basilic arteriovenous fistula (UBAVF) is a rarely used alternative type of vascular access for haemodialysis. The location of the vein on the back aspect of the forearm forces an extremely uncomfortable external rotation of the upper limb during surgery when the patient is in a supine position.
Methods: We present a new approach towards creating UBAVF, which involves placing the patient in the prone position, thus eliminating the aforementioned inconvenience.

Objective: To evaluate the outcomes of arteriovenous fistulae (AVF), created with VasQ external support device under standard clinical practice across three vascular access clinics.
Methods: This multinational, retrospective study evaluated prospectively collected clinical outcomes of both forearm and upper arm brachiocephalic AVF (BCAVF) created using the VasQ device. Fifty-one AVF patients were pooled from three different vascular access centers in Germany, Italy, and Spain.

: As per standard guidelines, the recommended order of arteriovenous fistula (AVF) creation for hemodialysis (HD) access is radiocephalic (RC), followed by proximal elbow fistulas and arteriovenous graft. Although ulnar-basilic (UB) fistula has been an alternative to RC-AVF, still this procedure searches clear recommendations. We present here our experience on UB-AVF as the preferred "second procedure" instead of proximal fistula after the RC-AVF.

Objective: Arteriovenous fistula (AVF) is the preferred access for hemodialysis. Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) has become a choice for AVF stenosis, and ultrasound has been used in PTA more frequently.
Methods: This single-center retrospective cohort study analyzed 129 patients who underwent PTA in the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from January 2016 to December 2016.
