Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have become an established treatment option for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, the efficacy of single-agent immunotherapy as well as in combination with chemotherapy seems to be dependent on the presence of molecular abnormalities in some genes-serine/threonine kinase 11 (), Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 () and Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog () among them. The gene is a critical regulator of the cellular response to oxidative stress and electrophilic stress, thus playing a pivotal role in maintaining cellular homeostasis.

Background: transmission can occur during pregnancy if the mother contracts the infection for the first time. Treatment strategies include the use of antimicrobial medications and providing supportive care. Spiramycin is commonly used to treat toxoplasmosis in pregnant women and to hinder the disease's transmission.

ME/CFS symptoms can range from mild to severe, and include immune system effects alongside incapacitating fatigue and post-exertional disease exacerbation. In this study, we examined immunological profiles of people living with ME/CFS by flow cytometry, focusing on cytotoxic cells, to determine whether people with mild/moderate (n= 43) or severe ME/CFS (n=53) expressed different immunological markers.

Here, we conducted a comprehensive three-year longitudinal study examining T cell and antibody responses in 78 vaccinated individuals without reported symptomatic infections. We observed distinct dynamics in Spike-specific humoral and cellular immune responses across multiple vaccine doses.

Background: Most of the Fractional exhaled Nitric Oxide (FeNO)'s physiological production occurs in small airways, but the relationship between FeNO and small airway disease (SAD) in asthma is scant.
Objective: To investigate the relationship between asthma control, changes of FeNO in relation to airway bronchodilation (BD), and SAD.
Methods: Baseline conventional spirometry, impulse oscillometry (IOS), and FeNO pre- and post-bronchodilation (salbutamol 400 mcg) were tested on consecutive community-treated adult asthmatic patients.
