The specialty of urology has historically adapted to the changing health care environment. Urologists have been quick to adopt new technology, new therapeutics, and devices to render state-of-the-art patient care with improved clinical outcomes. The busy urology practice is now in the position to deliver many novel and unique therapies across multiple disease states. As a result, clinicians can provide state-of-the-art care in a clinic setting and potentially reduce the overall costs of health care delivery.
