Community health workers (CHWs) play a significant role in supporting health services delivery in communities with few trained health care providers. There has been limited research on ways to optimize the role of CHWs in HIV prevention service delivery. This study explored CHWs' experiences with offering HIV prevention services [HIV testing and HIV pre- and post-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP and PEP)] during three pilot studies in rural communities in Kenya and Uganda, which aimed to increase biomedical HIV prevention coverage via a structured patient-centered HIV prevention delivery model.

Interpersonal trust is the premise and foundation of encouraging cooperation in this age of rapid progress. The purpose of this study was to investigate how moral judgment affects bystanders' interpersonal trust and its internal mechanisms when there are ethical transgressions. The moral judgment of the evaluators was divided into three categories-opposition, neutrality and approval-on the basis of the moral transgressions of the offenders.

Absrtact: In the era of digital intelligence, biometrics plays a critical role in mediating sensitive information dissemination, human-computer interaction, and governance in both virtual and real-world settings, including the evolving metaverse. Based on an empirical analysis of 1,862 participants, the current study investigated factors influencing public perception, acceptance, and risk awareness of biometric technologies. The findings highlight the critical roles of perceived trust (PT) and technical prudence (TP) in driving behavioral intentions (BI), with their positive effects outweighing the significant deterrent impact of perceived risks (PR).

Background And Objective: Diabetic Retinopathy (DR) is a serious diabetes complication that can cause blindness if not diagnosed in its early stages. Manual diagnosis by ophthalmologists is labor-intensive and time-consuming, particularly in overburdened healthcare systems. This highlights the need for automated, accurate, and personalized machine learning approaches for early DR detection and treatment.

There has been an erosion of trust in medical care and clinical research, and this has raised issues about whether institutions and investigators conducting clinical research are worthy of trust. We review recent literature on research on trust and trustworthiness in the clinical research enterprise and identify opportunities to enhance trustworthiness, which will likely increase participant trust in clinical research. In addition, we review materials reporting the results of national polls related to the public's trust in different occupations.
