Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a distinct clinical entity with variable presentations and diverse clinical outcomes, characterized by autoimmune-mediated injury to the liver. The detection of autoantibodies and histological features consistent with autoimmune injury is crucial for diagnosing AIH. Early identification and treatment are essential to prevent progression to cirrhosis.

Some women infected with (CT) are asymptomatic, while others experience lower abdominal discomfort when the inflammatory process extends to the fallopian tubes. Without treatment, salpingitis can progress to pelvic peritonitis and subsequently, peritonitis in the upper abdomen, a condition known as Fitz-Hugh-Curtis syndrome, in some cases. A nucleic acid amplification assay is required for diagnosing CT infection.

The combination therapy of lenvatinib plus pembrolizumab (LP) is increasingly recognized as an important second-line regimen for advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer (EC). However, the safety and efficacy of conversion surgery with low anterior rectal resection for unresectable EC following LP therapy is unknown. A 37-year-old woman was referred with unresectable EC with pleural fluid, peritoneal dissemination, and ascites.

Fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma (FHCC) is a rare variant of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), characterised by a poorer prognosis in later stages compared with conventional HCC due to a high rate of local recurrence, lymph node metastasis and peritoneal metastasis. Conventional chemotherapy is generally ineffective, making surgery the only potentially curative treatment. Currently, surgery is also indicated in cases of recurrence, always aiming for an R0 resection.
