Synthesis of new chiral thiourea derivatives (27 examples) as anticancer agents has been described. Three compound 7d (NSC code 761448/1), 7e1 (NSC code 767161/1), and 7e3 (NSC code 767160/1) were found to exhibit higher anticancer activity than 5-fluorouracil against Colon cancer, Melanoma, Ovarian cancer, and Breast cancer subpanels. The effect of stereochemistry of amino acid residues on the tumor growth inhibitory activity has also been studied.

The Naval Ship Code (NSC) was enacted in 2009 to standardize regulations for NATO member naval forces, and a study commissioned by the Spanish Navy General Staff (EMA) aimed to identify the factors that influence onboard personnel's ability to move during an evacuation process. This study validated the soundness of the safety protocols implemented on navy vessels and highlighted the impact of certain characteristics of the embarked military contingent, such as body mass index, age, and seniority. It also found that such characteristics could act as distinctive factors among the embarked contingents in the evacuation of a military vessel.

This retrospective observational study investigated the link between ICS use and AI risk using data from the National Health Insurance Service-National Sample Cohort, analyzing 66,631 patients with COPD (Korean Standard Classification of Diseases [KCD] codes J42-J44) or asthma (KCD codes J45-J46). ICS use, daily dosage, and AI cases (hospitalization or ≥ 2 outpatient visits with KCD code E27) were identified via diagnostic codes.
