Adding a biologic "mix" to facilitate anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) graft healing in bone tunnels is a promising option. Of course, optimization of graft healing in the femoral and tibial tunnels may or may not translate into a better biologic ACL graft. Specifically, after biologic tunnel augmentation, does the graft itself revascularize and remodel more rapidly to allow early return to sport earlier, which could justify the increased cost of biologic augmentation? This remains an unknown.

At shoulder arthroscopy, the incidence of subscapularis pathology was noted to be 27%, with 47% of these being combined lesions involving the medial reflection pulley. The anatomic location of the upper subscapularis and biceps allows for combined fixation techniques.

Neurofilament light chain (NfL) is a long-awaited blood biomarker that can provide clinically useful information about prognosis and therapeutic efficacy in multiple sclerosis (MS). There is now substantial evidence for this biomarker to be used alongside magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and clinical measures of disease progression as a decision-making tool for the management of patients with MS. Serum NfL (sNfL) has certain advantages over traditional measures of MS disease progression such as MRI because it is relatively noninvasive, inexpensive, and can be repeated frequently to monitor activity and treatment efficacy.
