The application of the person-environment-occupation-performance (PEOP) model in occupational therapy education offers valuable insights into the interaction between person, environment, and occupational factors and how these elements influenced the strategies used to adapt and navigate the transformation of health professions education during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study explored how individual characteristics, contextual demands, and the nature of educational occupations shaped the adaptation and performance of educators and students. The study used a qualitative, exploratory research design at a public higher education institution (HEI) in South Africa, focusing on the occupational therapy program.

Background: Electrocardiography (ECG) is the gold standard for the diagnosis of atrial fibrillation (AF). Recently, smartwatches like the Apple Watch have emerged as a promising, user-friendly device for rapid detection and diagnosis of AF, but the reliability and diagnostic accuracy still remain controversial.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to perform a systematic review and diagnostic test accuracy meta-analysis evaluating the diagnostic performance of the Apple Watch ECG in detecting AF.

This paper presents a compact all-fiber multicomponent gas Raman probe using a dual-fiber architecture within a platinum-coated capillary. The probe eliminates the need for conventional optical components like filters and dichroic mirrors by strategically employing metal coating on the excitation fiber's surface to suppress interference signals. A detailed analysis of the silica Raman signal and fluorescence propagation within the system facilitated this design.

Background: Chronic Nonbacterial Osteomyelitis (CNO) is a rare auto-inflammatory disease that mainly affects children, and manifests with single or multiple painful bone lesions. Due to the lack of specific laboratory markers, CNO diagnosis is a matter of exclusion from different conditions, first and foremost bacterial osteomyelitis and malignancies. Whole Body Magnetic Resonance (WBMR) and bone biopsy are the gold standard for the diagnosis.
