Background/objectives: Dementia is a syndrome which involves cognitive and motor problems such as memory and motor control that impacts the individuals' quality of life. In mental imagery (MI) technique, motor acts are mentally rehearsed without any overt body movements. The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of MI on the quality of life, cognitive, and emotional status of older adults with an early stage of dementia.

Quality assurance practices performed before treatment are believed to identify various potential errors. In this study, 2-dimensional (2D) dosimetric results were analyzed by making some intentional mistakes in six different treatment plans. In this way, the detectability of errors was investigated.

Automated clinical coding (ACC) has emerged as a promising alternative to manual coding. This study proposes a novel human-in-the-loop (HITL) framework, CliniCoCo. Using deep learning capacities, CliniCoCo focuses on how such ACC systems and human coders can work effectively and efficiently together in real-world settings.

Introduction: A recent study on patients with acute lower limb ischemia showed that the proportion of inadequate examination of lower extremity circulation was associated with higher rate of amputation and death. The aim of this systematic review was to explore evidence for how practical competence in performing a peripheral vascular status of the lower limb among medical students and junior doctors should be taught and examined.
Methods: The systematic review followed PRISMA guidelines and was published in PROSPERO.
