Laser irradiation of ZnO:Al/Ag/ZnO:Al transparent contacts is investigated for segmentation purposes. The quality of the irradiated areas has been experimentally evaluated by separation resistance measurements, and the results are complemented with a thermal model used for numerical simulations of the laser process. The presence of the Ag interlayer plays two key effects on the laser scribing process by increasing the maximum temperature reached in the structure and accelerating the cool down process. These evidences can promote the use of ultra-thin ZnO:Al/Ag/ZnO:Al electrode in large-area products, such as for solar modules.

The purpose of this study was to examine how low-energy LED red light influences the early to middle stage of osteogenic differentiation of periodontal ligament stem cells (PDLSCs) via the ERK5 signaling pathway. METHODS: PDLSCs were extracted from periodontal membrane tissue using enzymatic digestion. At three time points of 7, 10, and 14 days after irradiation with 5J/cm LED red light, the expression levels of early to middle-stage osteogenic-related genes ALP, Col-1, BSP, and OPN were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR(qRT-PCR) in both control and osteogenesis experimental groups.

This article presents new data on the integrated use of colloidal solutions of nanoparticles and low-intensity laser radiation on the biosynthetic activity of the medicinal mushroom . Traditional mycological methods, colloidal solutions of biogenic metals, and unique photobiological methods have also been used. It was found that colloidal solutions of nanoparticles of all metals used increased the growth characteristics of (55-60%), while irradiation of the fungal inoculum with laser light in a medium with nanoparticles reduced the growth activity of mycelia by 12.

Hybrid nano-sized motors with navigation and self-actuation capabilities have emerged as promising nanocarriers for a wide range of delivery, sensing, and diagnostic applications due to their unique ability to achieve controllable locomotion within a complex biological environment such as tissue. However, most current nanomotors typically operate using a single driving mode, whereas propulsion induced by both external and local stimuli could be more beneficial to achieve efficient motility in a biomedical setting. In this work, we present a hybrid nanomotor by functionalizing biodegradable stomatocytes with platinum nanoparticles (Pt NPs).

Mechanical interatomic bond formation under ultrahigh pressure induced by laser-driven shock waves has been demonstrated for C-C, C-O, and O-O bonds. In this study, molecules generated in primary amine solutions irradiated with high-intensity lasers were identified. When methylamine or ethylamine was dissolved in methanol or ethanol, molecules likely formed through C-C or O-N bonds between the amine and alcohol were detected.
