Background: Audouin, 1826 is the largest genus of the Hersiliidae Thorell, 1869, currently including 80 extant species that are widespread throughout most of forests of the Tropical realm. The tropical rainforest in Xishuangbanna is one of the most biodiversity-rich regions in China. However, can be regarded as being poorly represented in Xishuangbanna, with only two recorded species so far.

Global mean sea-level (GMSL) change can shed light on how the Earth system responds to warming. Glaciological evidence indicates that Earth's ice sheets retreated inland of early industrial (1850 CE) extents during the Holocene (11.7-0 ka), yet previous work suggests that Holocene GMSL never surpassed early industrial levels.

Examining whether nitrogen (N) enrichment promotes secondary tree growth in both young (YF) and old-growth forests (OF) is crucial. This will help determine how N addition influences plant carbon sequestration across successional phases in temperate forests. We conducted an eight-year N addition experiment (0, 25, 50, 75 kg N ha yr) in YF and OF in northeast China to investigate the effects of enhanced in situ N deposition on tree growth.

The Chili, Vitor and Quilca rivers and their tributaries in Peru serve as a vital water resource for both irrigation and domestic use in the surrounding communities and agricultural areas. The purpose of this study was to establish, for the first time, the presence, abundance, distribution and chemical identity of polymer microparticles in aqueous samples from these river basins. The results showed that, on average, filaments were the most dominant (71.
