Background: During the first pandemic lockdown restrictive regulations were implemented in hospitals. Parents of preterm babies were particularly affected due to a long hospital stay. The aim of this study is to investigate how pandemic regulations during the first lockdown impacted the birth and perinatal experiences of parents of preterm babies.

Background And Objectives: Increasing evidence confirms the significant involvement of disgust in contamination-related obsessive-compulsive disorder (C-OCD). More insights into the role of disgust within cognitive biases in OCD may illuminate the psychopathology and corresponding subdimensions or subtypes. The present study introduces a new approach adopted from psycholinguistic research to investigate biases in word association networks in C-OCD versus other OCD symptom dimensions (nC-OCD).

Objective: The study aims to explore how sensation seeking relates to college students sports lottery purchasing behavior, mediated by fear of missing out and moderated by perceived risk.

Methods: A study surveyed 409 college students using various scales to assess sensation seeking, sports lottery purchasing behavior, fear of missing out, and perceived risk. Data analysis included descriptive stats, t-tests, partial correlations, mediation and moderation effects, and Bootstrap testing to understand the psychological drivers behind sports lottery purchases among students.
