Background: After lumbar spine surgery, a Core Outcome Set (COS) for acute pain is essential to ensure that the most meaningful outcomes are monitored consistently in the perioperative period. The aim of the present study was to consent on a COS for assessing the efficacy of acute pain management for patients undergoing lumbar spinal surgery.
Method: A modified Delphi procedure was conducted among a national (Dutch) expert panel.

Study Objective: This study aimed to examine extent, fraction, and trends of general payments to anesthesiologists and non-physician anesthesia providers (NPAPs) in the United States.
Design: This is a cross-sectional analysis of general payments by pharmaceutical and medical device industry to all anesthesiologists (2014-2023) and NPAPs (2021-2023) for non-research purposes using the Open Payments Database, a federal transparency database under the Physician Payments Sunshine Act between 2014 and 2023.
Setting: The United States.

Background: Subarachnoid anesthesia is the primary anesthetic method for elective cesarean section surgery, characterized by rapidly taking effect and reliable analgesia. However, subarachnoid anesthesia is prone to cause a high block level, resulting in a high incidence of maternal hypotension. How to reduce the incidence of maternal hypotension under subarachnoid anesthesia is a practical problem that needs to be solved urgently in clinical practice.

Methods: The survey covered various aspects, including respondent demographics, the establishment and maintenance of OLV, intraoperative monitoring standards, and complications associated with OLV.
